Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Head of European Transportation Operations. This position will be responsible for managing all aspects of domestic and international transportation within Europe, ensuring seamless logistics and supply chain management.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize transportation costs and improve service levels
• Manage relationships with domestic and international carriers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient transportation networks
• Monitor and analyze transportation performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement
• Develop and implement processes to ensure timely and accurate freight claims management
• Manage third-party transportation complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Participate in the development of transportation-related policies and procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience in transportation management, preferably in a similar industry
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
