About Somfy's Digital Factory

Our Digital Factory (Smart Control Tower product scope) is seeking a dedicated Data Quality Analyst to play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of our data sources and digital products.

Your Mission:

As a Data Quality Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data quality controls, identifying and resolving any data-related issues that arise, and providing valuable feedback and recommendations to enhance the overall quality and usability of our data. You'll collaborate closely with other Data Analysts, Data Engineers, and Business stakeholders to ensure that our data consistently meets the needs and expectations of our clients and users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough data quality assessments across various data sources and products, utilizing statistical methods, data profiling tools, and established governance rules.
  • Meticulously identify, document, and communicate any data quality issues, their root causes, and potential impacts to relevant stakeholders.
  • Propose and implement effective data quality solutions, such as data cleaning, enrichment, and validation techniques.
  • Provide constructive feedback on data quality and actionable recommendations to data producers, data consumers, digital product teams, and data owners.
  • Actively support data analysis and visualization projects, ensuring that the underlying data is of high quality and readily usable.

Your Profile:

  • Ideally possess a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, management, and/or quality assurance.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in SQL, one or more programming languages such as Python, and PowerBI.
  • Be familiar with established data quality standards, best practices, and methodologies.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exhibit a curious mindset and enjoy engaging in idea exchanges.
  • Have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
