About the Role
The Centre Hospitalier de Libourne is seeking a skilled Pain Management Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Pain Management Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with chronic pain conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with chronic pain conditions, including migraines, chronic headaches, back pain, and neuropathic pain
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and interventional procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, specialists, and therapists, to provide comprehensive care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in pain management, incorporating evidence-based practices into patient care
Requirements
- Board certification in Pain Medicine or a related field
- Experience in pain management, preferably in a hospital setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and other relevant software
