Job Summary

Safran Electrical & Power is seeking an experienced Industrial Systems Engineer to join our Industrialization Process team. As an Industrial Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and implementing software solutions to connect and control industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and adapt interfaces to enable data communication between industrial equipment, databases, and data collection tools
  • Design and implement Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) tailored to our workstations and environments
  • Pursue the development of IoT, including vissage asservi and vision control
  • Ensure maintenance support for deployed tools in level 2
  • Train operational teams, accompany user skill development, and key-users by sector
  • Participate in Manufacturing 4.0 and automation projects

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development
  • Strong knowledge and skills in industrial computing, including LabVIEW, JavaScript, or Python, and certifications on a platform
  • Experience with communication protocols (TCP-IP, OPCUA, PROFINET, MODBUS, MQTT, etc.)
  • Proficiency in database querying and writing (SQL, no-SQL)
  • Knowledge of structured data files (JSON and/or XML)
  • Experience with robotics, AGV, or other industrial devices
  • Knowledge of ergonomics and cognitive science

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional-level English language skills
  • Passion for industry and interest in production tools
