Our Responsible Investment Team
The Responsible Investment (RI) team at Thematics Asset Management plays a critical role in shaping the firm's sustainable investing strategy. The team is responsible for developing and implementing the firm's ESG framework, providing expertise to investment teams, and reporting on ESG performance.
Key Responsibilities of the ESG Analyst
- Support the ESG team in its daily tasks and ongoing projects, including data analysis and reporting.
- Work closely with ESG and climate specialists to develop and enhance RI policies and procedures.
- Provide key support in company ESG engagements, including analysis, engagement, monitoring, and tracking.
- Regularly carry out data analysis for reporting and disclosure, as well as for portfolio risk analysis.
- Participate in the development of ESG-specific content for clients and marketing.
- Provide support to portfolio managers on ESG-specific research and help generate ESG thought leadership content.
Requirements and Qualifications
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented ESG Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a post-graduate degree in sustainability, environmental science, or finance with a specialization in environmental or social economics. Strong English written and verbal communication skills, advanced proficiency in Excel, and a strong interest in data analytics are also essential. Experience in ESG or sustainability research is a plus.
