About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Director to join our team at Supermarché Match. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Director in all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, and staff management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Director in developing and implementing sales strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Manage and motivate a team of 10-80 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality store operations.
- Monitor and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and staff performance to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless store operations and optimal inventory management.
- Collaborate with the Store Director to create and implement employee development plans, ensuring that staff members have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of store policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with company regulations and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior retail management role, preferably as a Deputy Store Manager or Store Operations Manager.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, customers, and stakeholders.
- Diploma or degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, marketing, or retail management.
