Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cosmetic Ingredient Analyst to join our dynamic team at International Flavors & Fragrances. As a key member of our Analytical Development team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing various physicochemical and chromatographic techniques to screen and characterize natural active ingredients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement analytical methods for the characterization and quantification of natural active ingredients
- Review scientific literature, conduct experiments, analyze data, and create reports to support the development of new natural ingredients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product specifications and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Participate in patent review and redaction, and contribute to the development of new analytical techniques and methods
- Work closely with the Analytical team and the Health & Wellness team to ensure seamless integration of analytical results into product development
Requirements
- Robust skills in chemical analysis of natural active ingredients, with a minimum of 5 years of experience
- Good knowledge of natural extracts and their cosmetics uses
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and drive cross-functional projects
- Innovation and proactive mindset, with a strong focus on problem-solving and collaboration
- Effective communication in French and English (verbal and written), organizational, and interpersonal skills
