Job Description

Yedi Technologies, a pioneering, VC-backed, hardware and software company developing technology to transform the way in which individuals can access clean and reliable restrooms, is looking to hire a full stack engineer.

The role is exciting and critical to Yedi’s product development and provides an opportunity to interface directly with executive management and drive product decisions.

Yedi has spent the past two years developing a proprietary smart lock and software suite to provide ‘tap & go’ access in every retail restroom across the globe. This role is an opportunity to join at the ground floor during a critical stage of growth - We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate who is passionate about all aspects of developing scalable software and is eager to transform innovative ideas into successful product launches.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Architecture

  • Design architecturally sound software systems
  • Create scalable web services, applications, and APIs
  • Develop both front-end and back-end components of software systems

Development and Coding

  • Write clean, functional code across multiple programming languages
  • Review and improve existing code

Project Management

  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle from conception to deployment
  • Collaborate with designers to make mockups come to life
  • Oversee entire projects from start to finish

Performance and Maintenance

  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
  • Test and maintain software applications
  • Continuously improve software efficiency

Technical Collaboration

  • Write technical documentation
  • Stay updated on latest technological advancements

Overview of Stack:

  • Backend: Java/Spring Boot, Golang, Python, PostgreSQL, Redis
  • Frontend: NextJS, TypeScript, TailwindCSS
  • Mobile: Flutter, React Native
  • Infrastructure: GCP, Digital Ocean, Docker

Preferred Experience:

  • At least One (1) year of prior professional experience
  • Fluent English speaking
  • Excited about new technologies
  • Bachelors or equivalent experience (three (3) or more years of experience)
