In the Ile de France site is at the heart of delivering cutting-edge industrial machinery and solutions for various sectors.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead the manufacturing operations at the Ile de France facility. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, ensure the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance, and implement lean manufacturing techniques to improve production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all manufacturing operations, ensuring timely production and adherence to quality standards.
- Implement and enforce HSE policies, creating a culture of safety and compliance.
- Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to transition the shop towards higher efficiency, organization, and productivity.
- Lead, coach, and develop a diverse team of supervisors, planners, and logistics personnel.
- Manage shop planning and scheduling for prototype and series production, ensuring flexibility and scalability.
- Optimize inventory management and streamline processes for improved material flow.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, and quality teams to align production with customer demands.
- Strengthen workforce engagement by fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant or manufacturing leadership roles.
- Strong expertise in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and change management.
- Proven track record in implementing HSE policies and fostering a safety-conscious work environment.
- Experience in manufacturing operations within electrical, electronic or heavy industrial machinery, or similar industries or manufacturing processes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage, develop, and motivate teams.
- Ability to manage complexity and drive efficiency in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
- Fluency in French and English is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a multinational industrial company.
- Background in managing plant transitions or production scaling.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and production planning tools.
