Redstone Commodity Search is working with a dry bulk ship brokerage looking to hire an experienced dry cargo broker to join their team in London or Geneva.

• Build and maintain a client base, fostering strong relationships with vessel owners and charterers to promote repeat business and expand market presence.
• Actively market vessel availability and charterer orders for both spot and time charters.
• Negotiate Charter-party contracts, handling contract details to ensure smooth transactions.
• Oversee all stages of transactions, from initial negotiations to post-transaction follow-up, managing any issues or adjustments that may arise.
• Monitor dry cargo market trends to inform strategy and advise clients on the best options for vessel usage, rates, and contract terms.

• 2 years + experience as a dry cargo ship broker, with a proven track record in negotiating and closing deals in any vessel size category.
• Proven capacity to manage multiple transactions and client demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in industry trends and key players to drive growth.
• Transferable portfolio of business would be advantageous.
• Role is located in London or Geneva.
