Job Description
In a context of international hyper growth, we are looking for a Head of People to manage our HR team, hire the best talents, help Pelicans express their full potential and reinforce Pelico’s culture.
What You'll Do & Learn
Your missions will include:
- Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Develop and execute a talent strategy to attract, recruit, and retain top talent, aligning with growth needs.
- Enhance employer branding to position the company as a top destination for tech talent.
- Optimize hiring processes for efficiency, speed, and quality while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Forecast workforce needs to proactively address skill gaps and support scaling.
- People Growth & Leadership Development
- Implement scalable learning and development programs to support continuous employee growth at all levels.
- Develop leadership programs to prepare managers for leading in a fast-paced environment.
- Own performance management to drive alignment, accountability, and development across the organization.
- Foster internal talent pipelines through mentorship and coaching initiatives.
- Culture & Employee Experience
- Scale and strengthen company culture, ensuring alignment with core values as the organization grows.
- Drive employee engagement and well-being through data-driven feedback initiatives and targeted programs.
- Enhance employee experience by fostering a culture of impact, learning, and inclusivity.
- Lead diversity and inclusion efforts to promote a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
- People Operations & Scalability
- Oversee compensation and benefits strategies that align with talent goals and market trends.
- Ensure legal compliance and operational efficiency across HR functions, from payroll to employment contracts.
- Implement scalable HR systems to support organizational growth and streamline processes.
- Collaborate with finance and leadership on workforce planning and headcount management.
- Adapting talent management policies (recruitment, retention, training) to local specificities while maintaining overall consistency.
- Strategic HR Leadership
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team, driving people strategies that support business objectives.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to align HR initiatives with broader company goals.
- Prepare for future growth, laying the foundation for the next scaling phase and organizational success.

- Experience: You have 8y+ experience in People topics (including talent acquisition), you have managed a team, ideally in a fast growing environment.
- Languages: You are fluent in French and English (as our team is international), both written and spoken.
- Communication: You have strong written and verbal communication skills, and you are able to explain something complex with simple words.
- Interpersonal skills: You have great interpersonal skills and are always eager to build new relationships and feed them with regular and qualitative contacts.
- Mindset: You are passionate about People topics and dedicated to helping teams grow and have an entrepreneurial mindset: you like challenges and getting hands-on.
- Curious: Business-oriented and curious, you are able to understand the missions of each internal team and establish yourself a credible partner.
- Attention to details: You know that the devil is in the details, and you have a talent for spotting flaws if there are any.
