Their mission is to create impactful learning experiences that drive measurable outcomes and transform education for the better. Due to a business expansion, they are currently seeking a Chief Product Officer to effectively lead their product launch in Africa, based our of their office in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.Job DescriptionReporting to the CEO & COO, Your responsibilities are outlined below:Strategic Product Leadership: Develop and own the product design vision, strategy and roadmap , aligning the organization's mission to transform education in Tanzania and various markets in AfricaResponsible for identifying long term business opportunities in K-12, higher education through researchProduct Development & Impact: Oversee the end-to-end product life cycle: I deation , prototype, launching, creative & scaling of educational contentLead product designs that are user friendly, while considering content availability in multiple languages within AfricaImpact Measurement Indicators: Define and track KPI's and educational impact metrics, such as student engagement, knowledge retention & exam pass rates*Effective collaboration with C-suite & board executives to manage technical feasibility and vendor partnershipsThe Successful ApplicantYou bring 15 years of proven experience in a Chief Product Officer role, preferably in the Edutainment or media sectors covering education product programs. Minimum of 3 years of experience leading educational technology platforms in Africa is mandatory. Previous experience working closely with media distribution channels in Africa is considered a bonus. Excellent track record of defining and executing product strategies that result in impactful results concerning educational content. Excellent fluency in English & Swahili is required.
