Topic description Childhood hypopituitarism is a rare disease. Growth retardation is the main revealing symptom in children. In adults, several consequences are reported (metabolic syndrome, bone mineralization, cardiovascular risk, exercise capacity, ..) and impaired quality of life (QOL), despite appropriate hormonal treatment. Decreased QOL, poor professional achievement, loneliness, are reported in small and insufficiently documented series. This is usually seen as the consequence of hidden disability...
