We are looking for an experienced Manager - Project Management Project Operations PWR-T to lead and develop a team of project managers, ensuring the successful execution of large-scale projects within our portfolio.
HOW YOU WILL IMPACT
As Manager Project Management, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 25+ project managers, ensuring efficient resource allocation, professional development, and continuous improvement in project execution. You will play a key role in enhancing project management methodologies, optimizing performance, and driving strategic initiatives within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development Lead and manage a geographically distributed team of project managers. Recruit, develop, and retain top project management talent. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Drive change and improvements in project execution methodologies, i.e. our Project Model Manage performance, training, and career development of team members.Project Management & Execution
Provide strategic guidance and coaching to project managers to enhance project outcomes. Monitor and report on project performance, risks, and key deviations to senior management. Support resource planning, ensuring optimal use of project management capabilities.Strategic & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Actively contribute to business strategy, improvement initiatives, and organizational development. Drive alignment between departments, project portfolios, and business objectives. Work closely with tender teams to provide input and review processes. Collaborate with manufacturing plants, operational teams, and other Nexans business units.YOUR STARTING POINT
We seek a strong leader with a passion for project excellence and a strategic mindset. You should bring:
Master`s degree (MSc, MBA, or similar) in Engineering, Business, or a related field. Proven experience in project management within relevant industries (energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, or similar). People management experience, including recruitment, coaching, and performance management. Strong commercial and financial acumen, with an ability to manage large-scale projects (up to €1.5B). Ability to drive organizational change and continuous improvement. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Why Join Us?
