Piping Engineer

Piping Engineer - Hauts-de-France - 12-Month Contract  Our client, a global (bio)pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation, is recruiting for a Piping Engineer to join them on their new expansion project. Based in a charming French location, this is on a contractual basis, and will involve significantly growing the sites capacity for the manufacture of Biologics. Responsibilities: Being part of the tendering team, with the General Contractor, requesting proposals from mechanical installation contractors etc. Support General Contractor in development of the Piping design supervision/guidance/review. Participate and report all scope changes or trends that may cause an impact to the work package. Manage and evaluate status reports regarding design and construction progress. Scout, onboard, manage and supervise piping engineer resources for the piping team. Manage electronic and hard-copy data files administration in client systems and archives. Installation supervision and collaboration with client commissioning team Requirements: Master’s degree in engineering. Proven experience (5 years) within the pharmaceutical industry. French Ideally. However, If they are Irish/ European with the right experience they will consider. Excellent understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance. Exceptional leadership and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. French and Speaking English is a nice to have however not a deal breaker. Experience with complex projects and working in or around operating facilities.  Ability to keep work pace and meet deadlines. Good organising and planning skills. Demonstrated proficiency communicating and collaborating at a variety of levels with customers, local vendors, equipment suppliers and operations staff. Proven success working well in a team environment with flexibility to react to changing business needs. Strong leadership and communication skills. Problem solver with a focus on achievement of overall project goals.
