**Senior Manager Analog and Mixed-Signal Design **you
**will manage 10 to 15 engineers **separated in several teams with different skills such as
**Concept, Design, Layout and Functional Safety and Safety Engineering **. You will get the full managerial responsibility for the employees as well as development of departmental policies, operational and/or organizational priorities. Responsibility includes managing, method and results in area of responsibility with impact on department, sometimes on organization results. You will have full authority for all personnel matters (appraisal, promotion, income increase, development measures, staffing, training, hiring, etc.)..
In your new role you will:
- be **responsible **for **IC design activities **to ensure that business objectives are met. It includes the RnD, the improvement of products and procedures in various engineering fields;
- have technical activities associated with new **product innovation **in **System Concept **, **Hardware Design **(microelectronic IC design & layout), and **Functional Safety **analysis;
- **support **the **planning **and the **execution **of multiple assigned **product development **projects;
- contribute to define and execute the strategy of the department;
- use your knowledge in several engineering fields, to manage dependencies;
- help to develop and to execute strategic partnerships for outsourcing, suppliers, school and research institutes;
- coach the team members to support their growth potential, to help them to better understand their environment and their contribution according to the company expectations;
- collaborate closely with management, peers and stakeholders (locally or remotely);
You demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing. You are a team player and take responsibility and ownership for your own work. Furthermore, your creativity and problem-solving skills help you find new ideas and come up with innovative solutions.
You are best equipped for this job if you have:
- A **Master Degree **in **Microelectronics **, **Electronic Engineering **or equivalent field of studies;
- **7+ years of experience **as an **analog/mixed-signal designer **with solid knowledge in power electronics and physics of semiconductor devices;
- **7+ years **relevant **management experience **in an RnD team;
- Experience with **Integrated Circuit Design **tools and Methods;
- Knowledge in **Functional Safety **related topic;
- Good communication skills, verbally and presentation;
- Fluency in English and French.
It would be an advantage if you have experience with:
- Automotive and functional safety;
- Automotive standards, such as ISO 26262, AEC-Q100, IATF 16949;
- V-Model product development lifecycle;
- Hiring process;
