**Role Overview**:
As an IT Engineer or Senior IT Engineer at LAT Nitrogen, you will ensure the operational excellence of our IT infrastructure within your designated field of technical responsibility. Your role will be crucial in developing and optimizing our IT infrastructure, evaluating and implementing new systems, and collaborating across departments and with our partners to maintain and enhance our IT services and IT processes.

**Location**: Multiple locations across Europe (Austria - Linz, Vienna; France - Ottmarsheim, Grand-Quevilly; Germany - Piesteritz; Hungary - Budapest)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage daily operations of IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless functionality.
- Collaborate with various IT functions, particularly with the IT ServiceDesk, to ensure efficient process execution.
- Contribute actively to the development of the IT knowledge base and asset documentation.
- Assess new services, systems, and processes to improve our IT capabilities.
- Implement solutions and coordinate with external partners on implementation and support.
- Identify and drive the adoption of IT innovations within your field of responsibility.
- Occasionally lead small to medium IT projects and support the project management activities.
- Mentor junior engineers and apprentices, supporting their technical and functional development.

**What We Expect from You**:

- Strong involvement in all IT process activities, including IT operations, incident management, service request fulfillment, and change management.
- Continuous improvement of IT services to ensure they meet the security and efficiency standards.
- Proactive engagement with external IT providers and vendors.
- Support in KPI-based IT performance and quality management.

**About You**:

- Extensive IT infrastructure knowledge and experience, ideally within the chemical industry.
- Excellent analytical, methodical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a multinational team.
- Relevant IT education, though significant work experience can substitute for formal education.
- Fluency in English, with additional European languages being a significant asset.
- **Experience Requirements**:

- **Engineer**: 3-5 years of experience in the defined field of technical responsibility.
- **Senior Engineer**: More than 5 years in the field, with a total experience in IT of more than 8 years.
