The ITER project brings together 35 countries in the construction of the largest Tokamak ever built This fusion device aims to demonstrate that "nuclear fusion" (_replicating the unlimited source of energy that powers the sun and the stars_) can be used as a large-scale, non-C02 emitting energy source to produce electricity. It is a joint project between the European Union, China, India, Japan, South Korea, the Russian Federation and the USA. The ITER project this is: - An experimental installation - The largest thermonuclear fusion facility in the world - A huge construction site based in the South of France (St Paul-Lez-Durance) - Up to 5,000 people employed at the height of construction activity - A multicultural and international environment - A logístical challenge and extraordinary engineering **Role** We are looking for a Junior **Project Cost Controller **M/F for ITER, based in Saint-Paul-lès-Durance, close to Aix-en-Provence. - **Key duties**:_ - Takes direction from the senior Cost Controller & interacts with the CMA Project Controls Manager and Project Delivery Managers - Contributes to the CMA project Cost Control focussing in monitoring Cost performance to detect and understand variance from plan - Contributes to preventing inappropriate or unauthorized changes from been included in the cost baseline - Contributes to the Cost Control reports - Participates in the Earned Value and the Cost performance processes as well as Estimates To Complete (ETC) calculation - Searches the reason why variance occurs both in positive and in negative - Participates to the changes control processes for the cost assignment to the Contractors and to the WBS **Profil recherché** You are graduated from a Master’s degree or an Engineer school and have at least 3 years’ experience in **Project Cost Control (“Contrôle des Coûts Projet”)**. A first experience in the Nuclear sector is a plus. You have a first experience in Cost Control methods in complex industrial Projects. You are stimulated being immersed in a multicultural business environment.
