Internship - Documentation and Research Centre, Icc

We are looking for a motivated intern to join the Documentation and Research Centre of the ICC International Court of Arbitration as of January 2025.

**About the internship**

We are looking for a motivated intern to join the Documentation and Research Centre of the ICC International Court of Arbitration as of January 2025. The internship will enhance knowledge of arbitration in commercial and investment disputes..

**The role**

Your learning opportunities and tasks include:

- Reading and analysing ICC arbitral awards and a range of working documents, both in English and in French;
- Updating databases;
- Researching a wide range of topics in international commercial arbitration;
- Compiling and updating statistics
- Preparing and updating presentations;
- Drafting briefs for members of the ICC Secretariat’s case management teams as well as the managing team of the ICC International Court of Arbitration.

**Your profile**
- Are a student in international commercial law arbitration with strong academic credentials and enjoy legal research work. This is an ideal position for students who are preparing their bar exams.
- Are fluent in English and French. Fluency in Spanish, German or Portuguese is an advantage.
- Are meticulous and detail oriented.
- Enjoy working in an international dynamic environment.

**Important information before applying**
- You must still be registered as a student during the time of the internship.
- Nationals from outside the European Union or Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Andorra, Monaco, or Switzerland must hold an appropriate visa from the French consulate.
- Non-EU residents are required to have valid papers **before applying** (long-stay student visa and/or carte de séjour) allowing them to work in France.
- Interns are required to handle their own travel and accommodation arrangements for the duration of their internship. ICC does not provide scholarships or fellowships.
- Based at ICC Global Headquarters in Paris our six-month internship programme is full-time with an average working week of 35 hours.
- Our interns receive a monthly gratification of about €750 gross + meal vouchers + partial compensation (70%) of public transport costs.
