FORVIA has launched a new business MATERI'ACT to design, industrialize and produce cutting-edge sustainable materials for automotive-compliant processes and products. This activity will build a competitive advantage to all FORVIA Group BGs (including Hella’s), by providing privileged access to sustainable materials displaying competitive costs, outstanding sustainability (life cycle footprint and EU taxonomy alignment) and automotive-grade properties (product and process). In addition this business will supply the full automotive industry (OEMs and Tiers-n) and other industries as much as possible.
**This business is reporting to FIS (Faurecia Interiors System) and will be running out of Lyon, France.**:
The Subsidies and Funding Manager is responsible for identifying all subsidies reservoir in and out of EU and maximimizing the in-flow of cash to support the innovation and development of this disruptive division. S.He builds the map of identifiable subsidies with the support of external experts and matches them back to the portfolio of innovative projects. The Subsidies and Funding Manager builds an external network and creates strong intimacy with funders (Regional, Governmental, European) to become the official interface. She/He will have at heart to manage the delivery of subsidies requests to all potential funders
**The main missions of the role, in full compliance with Code of Ethics and Code of Management, are to**:
- Understand and have a comprehensive view on the portfolio of innovations
- Identify all funding/subsidizing opportunities for such portfolio
- Be open to all other funding opportunities related to MATERI'ACT’s development
- Developp funders ecosystem/networking
- Developp relations with funders (European, France, Region, City)
- Master the R&D funding eco-system
- Manage the subsidising process from scouting to cash-inflow via request’s documentation
- Manage associated timelines
- Secure meeting the subsidiesed R&D deadlines and collect funds accordingly
- Interface with funders
- Coordinate the financial transactions between controlling and funders

**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 5/10 years experience in funding management and ecosystem
- Fluent in 2 languages including english
- Ability to manage uncertainty and resist to stakeholder pressure
- Knowledge and experience in Project Management process
- Able to work in team in multicultural and foreign environmen
- Good negotiation skills and arbitration abilities
- Curiosity, open minded to innovative solutions and passion for technical domains
- Demonstrated strong communication, analytical and synthesis skills
