The Pont de Claix site is home to the world headquarters of the Pharmaceutical Systems unit, one of the six production sites worldwide (France, UK, Singapore, Japan, US, Mexico) and the French market for the other BD group units.

**D**epartment***

Within the Pont-de-Claix site (38), you will join the supplier manufacturing operations of BD Medical Pharmaceutical System business unit. This group composed by team from procurement, operations and supplier quality, is specialized in managing projects in relation with component / subassembly suppliers, and perform activities such as supplier delivery performance, capacity optimization, supplier risk management, cost optimization programs, compliance with quality requirements, assurance of supply, etc...

**Missions**
- ** Supplier Risk management**
- Identify BU main supplier risk using corporate Supply Risk base
- Define mitigation action plan per categories in cooperation with Local Supply Chain (France, UK, Mexico, US, Hungary) and Procurement teams
- Implement and Monitor mitigation projects in coordination with cross functional business partners
- Prepare quarterly Risk updates presentations to Leadership Team
- ** Supply-chain continuous improvement**
- Work on Value Stream Mapping (end to end supply flows overview)
- Monitor safety stocks on critical components identified within risk analysis and manage related communication (including check of supplier's safety stocks)
- Support optimization projects implementation on ad hoc basis in collaboration with Supply Chain/Operations, Finance and Supplier Quality
- Support implementation of consolidated supplier's activities scorecard
- ** Procurement specific actions (optional - depending on apprentice profile / education)**
- Manage specific procurement action (Sourcing, RFQ, negociation, etc ) on specific topics such as indirect purchasing
- Analyze business main spend areas (including supply flows) and identify cost reduction opportunities
- Prepare business case of the opportunities

**Profil**

**Formation**: business School, master in purchasing / supply-chain, industrial engineer

**Aptitudes**:

- Experience in purchasing / supply-chain
- Knowledge of tools and methods
- Ability to influence internally and externally (indirect management)
- Initiative and Leadership
- Good understanding of end-to-end supply chain activities and associated processes (internally and at suppliers).
- Good analytical and synthetic skills
- Ability to assess the relevance of data
- Excellent communication in multi-cultural, multi-fonctional environment
- Fluent English (Spanish is a plus)
- Common practice of office tools (Excel, PowerPoint )
