Pilot - Luxury Barge

Cruising for more than 50 years, European Waterways is the owner and operator of a fleet of 12 luxury hotel barges located in France, Holland, Scotland & Ireland.

These barges are 30 or 39m long and can accommodate 8 or 12 guests maximum, depending on the size of their size. Each boat has a crew of 5 to 6 people including, at least, a pilot, a tour guide, a deckhand, a chef and host.

Guests come onboard for a 6-night all-inclusive cruise. Our goal is to provide them with the best service to ensure they enjoy a truly unique experience.

We are looking for **a Pilot**for our barges running in France & Ireland.

**The main tasks of this role are**:

- Navigation and boat safety: With the assistance of their deckhand, the pilot must ensure the safe navigation of the boat, particularly during various maneuvers.
- Exterior cleaning and maintenance of the entire boat: The pilot must ensure that the boat is clean and presentable at all times.
- Maintenance of all exterior-related aspects of the boat.
- Participation in the crew's life

**Profile sought**:
You have prior experience in the inland navigation sector.
You are dynamic, autonomous, organized.

You have a first experience in the hospitality industry.

**You possess**:

- Driver's license
- Boat Masters license
- You are fluent in Englush

You are available for short-term replacements or long-term commitments for a full season.

Seasonal fixed-term contract of 7 to 8 months with salary based on experience.

Our crew members are provided with meals and accommodation on board our boats during the season.
