**Role Description**:
The EMEA Risk Analyst role will support the Global Climate Risk organization in understanding Climate Risk drivers across all risk types within EMEA based legal entities. The primary focus of this role will be undertaking analysis and preparing commentary of key risk drivers within the legal entity portfolios. The role will also co-ordinate the integration of Climate Risk into legal entity governance, stress testing and capital processes in support of Global Climate FLU Oversight risk executives. Close partnership with Credit, Market, GCOR and Liquidity risk teams will be essential.
- Supports Climate Risk Executives who are responsible for the management of transformation efforts associated with assessing and addressing climate risks across products and services
- Work with the Reporting team to drive the production of the quarterly dashboard and coordinate the review and challenge process with Legal entity stakeholders in preparation of governance committees
- Review and challenge the risk dashboards across credit, market, liquidity, operational, compliance, reputational and strategic risk of the entity, going deep across physical and transition risks risk drivers, concentrations and at obligor / position level as required, in collaboration with the GCR reporting and analytics team and legal entity stakeholders
- Global Climate Risk point person for the respective legal entities climate risk scenario analysis, responsible for reviewing and challenging key assumptions, methodologies and overlay as well as results
- Responsible for the review and challenge of climate risk component of key processes and regulatory documents of the entity including Risk Identification, ICAAP, Risk Appetite Statement, Strategic Plan as required
- Responsible for coordinating climate risk regulatory requests / deliverables for the respective legal entities for the Risk organisation in collaboration with the PMO team, COO Risk and Regulatory relations
- Champion on Credit risk climate modelling (x1 of them) and Market Risk climate modelling (x1 of them)
- Update planning status materials

- Relevant risk experience in a large, fast-paced, results-oriented company with a demonstrated history of success
- Demonstrated stakeholder and relationship management experience
- Strong analytical skills; focus on attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to develop executive ready presentation materials
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen ability to prioritize daily tasks with project work as well as ad hoc requests
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint skills; Prior usage of SharePoint & Tableau
