Who we are looking for

We are looking for an intern to support our Compliance & Internal Control Unit to assess and monitor the internal controls framework and the compliance of Symbiotics France. In addition, the intern will also assist the compliance function of the funds managed by the AIFM. This internship provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the compliance and internal control function of a dynamic asset management company, leader in the impact investing space. The intern will benefit from the training and mentoring of experienced professionals.
This internship is based in the office of Symbiotics France SA, domiciliated 41 rue de Jeûneurs - 75002 Paris. Working occasionally from home can also be considered.

About the Job
Assist in performing internal controls.
Support the preparation the different compliance reports to the Senior Management, Board Members and regulators.
Contribute to the due diligence of the company’s and funds’ counterparties.
Support the documentation of the processes and procedures.
Provide help for the completion of AML/KYC questionnaires.

Your Qualification

The intern will be provided on-the-job training and close mentoring.

**More specifically, we have the following requirements**:

- Enrolled in Bachelor or Master’s degree in University programs related to finance / asset management / economics.
- Interest in impact investing.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Fluent English & French.
- French/EU National or valid French Student Permit.
- Good analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and writing skills.
- Demonstrate sound work ethics, reliable, proactive attitude.
