Infrastructure Architect

Job Summary

Job Purpose- Develop and drive the infrastructure architecture in their SME domain (Backup and Storage)-
- Drive or get involved with infrastructure projects (other than SME domain) as and when needed- Design global solutions that can be delivered at a regional level- Manage transition from conception to design to initial implementation phase of a technical solution

Responsibilities
- Technical Design and Operational Tasks_- Design infrastructure solutions that are secure, scalable, and highly available for both on-prem and cloud solutions- Work collaboratively with the different IT teams to define infrastructure and deployment requirements-
- Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of infrastructure and systems- Assist in the infrastructure cost analysis and optimization- Analyzes the current infra architecture setup to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvements
- Standards, Policies and Procedures_- Develops, communicates and supports technical policies, standards, guidelines and procedures related to infrastructure technical domain.- Designs standard configurations and patterns.
- Project Delivery_- Organize and manage technical solutions from conception to initial implementation to production- Works closely with project management team to ensure alignment of plans with what is being delivered-
- Identifies when it is necessary to modify the technical/solution architecture to accommodate project needs.- Advises on options, risks, costs versus benefits, system impacts, and technology priorities

Qualifications & Experience
- Essential_- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field- Fluent or native English speaker- At least 3 years of deploying and managing Veeam Enterprise Backup and Recovery software- At least 3 years knowledge of and experience with infrastructure architecture and design- Experience with the deployment of large infrastructure projects across multiple geographies
- Desirable_- At least 3 years of deploying and managing Rubrik Backup and Recovery software- Experience of working within a culturally diverse global company- Conversant in French or another European language would be advantageous
