Powertrain Development Engineer

**Annecy | CDI | Asap** CIXI is a startup in active mobility, developing products ranging from the Vigoz—an active vehicle capable of reaching speeds of up to 120 km/h—to the PERS Kit, a chainless pedaling system designed for electric bikes. Our mission is to enable users to stay active during their daily commutes while reducing their environmental footprint. By joining us as a **Powertrain Development Engineer**, you will take on the technical and project responsibility for the "powertrain" components of the PERS Kit (motors, controllers, batteries) across various vehicle configurations. **Your responsibilities**: - Specify powertrain components based on physical (simulation, etc.) and system analyses (PERS system definition, wiring harness, etc.) - Research and consult with suppliers to select components - Coordinate the mechanical, hardware, and software integration of components with all relevant teams - Define and oversee the execution of tests (test bench or field) in collaboration with our validation team (internal, external, and homologation testing) - Manage your project scope: planning, risks, responsibilities, resources, etc. **Your profile**: - You hold a Master degree in Mechatronics, Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent - You have some experience in powertrain development - You have strong interpersonal skills and can work effectively in English with cross-functional, multicultural teams and suppliers - You are a problem solver, curious, and eager to learn - You are highly organized with strong synthesis skills At CIXI, commitment, curiosity, and kindness are core values.
