design and AI algorithms that mimic the eye and brain to reveal what was invisible until now using standard frame-based technology. The fundamentally new approach reduces the power, latency and data processing requirements imposed by traditional image sensors. This introduces a paradigm shift in computer vision and opens new potential in areas such as autonomous vehicles, industrial automation, IoT, security and surveillance, and AR/VR.

**Responsibilities**:
PROPHESEE develops simulation models for all its sensors and systems. The model parameter extraction by sensor characterization can require significant resources in time and computation. Therefore, we are continuously enhancing and
optimizing our hardware calibrated simulation environment and characterization tools to reduce this effort. The task for the internship is on performance improvement of the parameter extraction using machine learning approaches.

**Qualifications**:

- Background in computer science, mathematics, electronics, or physics
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Good knowledge in machine learning
- Fluent communication in English is mandatory

**Advantages**:
