What you’ll achieve

The Customer Solution Center (CSC) is a global network and the Limerick CSC is the regional hub of the EMEA network of CSCs. It plays a critical role in the pre-sales process by helping our account teams to describe and build technical solutions for customers, and to prove to them how they will work in production environments. We work with customers and channel partners through various stages of the sales motion, from high-level technical briefings right through to deep-dive proof of concepts which demonstrate performance, availability and functional proof points for customers.

You will:

- The Solutions Architect is primarily responsible for delivering Technical Briefings, Architectural Design Sessions, and Proofs-of-Concept to customers and partners, and in doing so meeting and exceeding customer expectations
- The SA will support all site infrastructure, covering servers, storage and networking
- Support the Operations Team to ensure that all engagements are executed according to a defined process, and support the Engagement Manager to ensure that projects are delivered on time.
- As a SA you will be responsible for supporting your assigned tasks which can include day to day site operations, reporting, resolving issues, setting priorities, providing leadership, interfacing with the wider sales & pre-sales team, managing inventory, purchasing new products, site facilities, training, managing the showcase environment and budgeting
- You will be expected to feed back to management, PG, sales and marketing in relation to suggestions for improvement, competitive strengths and weaknesses, lab inventory and planning for upcoming product releases.
- Support CSC communications plans by documenting the solutions you are responsible for and documenting success stories, using blogs, social media feeds etc

Essential Requirements:

- Strong experience in server, storage and network platforms, operating systems, installation, configuring networks, deep knowledge of Dell (and/or competitor) offerings
- Very strong technical and verbal communication skills, including advanced presentation skills
- Understand Virtualization Technologies, server, hyper-converged, & Flex computing models
- Demonstrate Strong analysis and communication skills and the ability to develop solutions to customer’s business problems using Dell technologies
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment that can include various internal and external contacts (Account Management, Deployment Team, Solutions Architect, Employees, and Vendors)
- Native French level, fluent in English

- Accelerated computing
- AI & Analytics
- Data Centric Workloads
- Infrastructure as Code
- Vertical Use Cases & Experience
- Experience within complex customer environments especially within core Dell technology offerings
- Knowledge of security issues and how they pertain to customer environments
