With the strong expansion of Europe’s spot gas market, new opportunities and challenges have arisen for the department. To extract the highest value from this evolution and in line with the ROAD gas project, Short Term Gas has decided to move towards a fully service-oriented model.**: **Gas Delivery and Operation participate to Short Term activities together with Asset Management and Delivery Oversights. These two teams manage the delivery of gas and the asset optimization on the European network.** **In your team your main tasks will be the following**: - **Conduct of physical operations (balancing, nominations, control & follow-up of matching reports) arising from gas trading activities**: - **Acquiring and developing an in-depth knowledge and expertise in gas markets operating rules**: - **Putting in place and updating internal processes and systems to support new businesses and adapt to markets rules changes**: - **Participate to Short term trading activities and asset optimization (shift trading)**: - **Work in shift 3*8 (morning, evening and night)** **Hard skills**: - **Knowledge in gas European business (contracts, balancing, markets)**: - **Understanding of trading activities** **Soft skills**: - **Team player with good social skills, quick judgment and the ability to operate in a sometimes stressful environment**: - **Ability to develop quickly**: - **thorough knowledge of the relevant gas grids contracts and regulatory regimes**: - **experience of relevant physical operating rules on gas markets**: - **analysis skills to make quick and good decisions to solve operational incidents** - **Resilient to stress**: - **Ability to work alone during night, weekends and holidays** **Education and professional background**: ***: **Engineering School or University Master’s degree : sciences, economics or comparable studies** **First experience in an international energy trading company (Front-office, Operations, Middle-office, Back-office, IT)** - **Junior 3-5 years experience could fit if very solid**: - **Confirmed >5 years experience** **Languages**: - **French, English (oral and written)** **Travels**: ***: **No travels** **_If you meet these requirements, then you are the talent we are looking for.
