We aim to produce sustainable, affordable, high-capacity, longer-life batteries as a** cleaner alternative to current energy sources**. We create an R&D center and new state-of-the art facility in France (New Aquitaine), with gigafactories to be built in Hauts de France and Germany.

**Job description**:
In order to optimize the purchasing actions for the benefit of ACC, the Senior Construction Buyer:
- Manages all purchasing fields from RFQ preparation to construction delivery in coordination with project teams.
- Participates to all relevant Construction Project meetings.
- Acts in close relationship with his Purchasing colleagues (Construction, Equipment, Energy ).
- Manage supplier relationship and deals with all economical aspects.
- Leads and/or participates to the RFQs related to the Projects needs: prepares bid lists and specifications, sends the RFQ files to suppliers and analyses their answers with project team, prepares the supplier choice decisions with project.
- After supplier selection, finalizes contract and makes the administrative activity including purchase orders.
- Deals with economical and technical evolutionstill construction delivery.
- Builds benchmarks.
- Proposes best practices for future projects.
**Profile**:
**Knowledge / Know how**
- Negotiation
- Construction field : project, quotation, negotiation, suppliers base
**Experience**:
- 7 to 10 years in a Purchasing department and experience in construction field or experience in the construction industry in project area.
- Experience in dry room construction would be a plus.
**Qualifications**:
- Diplomas: Master degree of Engineering.
- Languages: English, French as a plus
**Key behaviours**:
- Strong cross functional behavior
- Quick reporting and sharing of information with Project and Purchasing teams
**Some extra skills which make the difference**
Experience of project in very constraint context (budget and planning).
