InterDigital is a registered trademark of InterDigital, Inc. **Summary** **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** - Actively participate and contribute to MPEG, SVTA, DBV or 3GPP SA4 standardization activities, including one or more of high-level syntax for codecs (2D, immersive, AI based), file format, carriage, realtime and streaming protocols. **Qualifications** - Masters’ or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fields - Solid research background in media streaming storage and delivery, media processing, high-level syntax for codec. - 5+ years of experience with multimedia system standards such as ISOBMFF file format, RTP payload, MPEG-DASH, OMAF - Experience being a standards delegate to MPEG, JVET, DVB, or 3GPP is a plus - Self-reliant, technical mindset oriented. - Proficient in C++ and C programming. - Strong analytical and research skills. - Proven track record of publications in first-tier conferences and/or journals is a plus. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
