New Tales is currently looking for a highly motivated and talented **Quality Assurance Analyst (F/M) in freelance contract **to join our adventure at NEW TALES.

**WHAT IS THE JOB ABOUT?**

We are seeking a self-motivated and independent Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team in Lyon. You will be working directly with our Design and Tech departments to validate and test all features of the game from inception to execution.

**THAT IS GREAT BUT WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR THE DAY TO DAY?**
- Participate in feature kick-offs with an understanding of development processes and highlighting where potential risks or conflicts could arise.
- Daily testing of the game (both complete builds and individual features).
- Provide tailored feedback addressing bugs and unexpected results, working with the necessary developer or team to find resolutions.
- Extract key data from external playtests and communicate feedback to the team.
- Work closely with the Producer to assess risks and follow through on the project roadmap.
- Monitor, update and create bugs in Jira, ensuring there is always a well maintained and prioritised list.
- Organise and support teamwide playtests.
- Process large amounts of data, regularly providing updates on the state of the game and bugs.

**Requirements**:
**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
- Confirmed Level; 2-4 years of Quality Assurance experience.
- Comfortable communicating (spoken + written) in English.
- Self-motivated is a must
- Ability to communicate clearly and directly, while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in software tracking tools such as Jira, Asana, Testrail or similar.
- True passion for crafting games
- Be a true team player, able to build relationships and establish trust, respect, and confidence.
- Understanding that iteration makes quality
- Demonstrate autonomy and responsibility
- Ability to be available, patient, benevolent and inclusive Extra: Experience with Unreal Engine.

- Great ability to analyze issues in depth and provide reproduction steps
- Great communication and ability to talk to all crafts (design, art and tech)
- Strong discipline to test builds repeatedly to find the sneakiest bugs
