**The Melia Paris Vendôme Hotel, **an unique 4-star Parisian boutique hotel located in the heart of Paris is looking for its future talent as **Front Office Manager**

**Job Summary**:
Under the responsibility of the Hotel Mnager, you will be responsible for the Front Office team. You will accompany the Front Desk staff and carry out all operations related to the department's activity.

**What will I be doing?**
- Manage and supervise the work of the Front Desk team
- Ensure the smooth running of shifts and the quality of services provided
- Ensure compliance with the procedures and quality standards of the hotel the Melia Hotels International group
- Ensure the interface with departments of the hotel
- Respond and follow up on the resolution of customer complaints and ensure their satisfaction
- Manage overbooking and follow up on no shows and late cancellations
- Prepare and welcome VIP and regular customers and ensure that their stay is a success
- Provide support to the team during busy periods and when necessary
- Manage the cash registers and prepare the bank remittances
- Ensure the follow-up of accounts receivable management: invoicing, customer balances, follow-up and reminders...
- Participate in the meetings of the Heads of Department, lead the daily briefings and department meetings
- Participate in promotional activities to optimize the occupancy rate and the average price of the hotel
- Participate in the preparation and monitoring of the budget for the front desk department
- Monitor performance in terms of quality and turnover, and take action if necessary (implementation of procedures, projects, training, etc.)
- Recruit, manage the integration and the training of the reception team
- Set and optimize the team's additional sales objectives
- Evaluate the front desk collaborators in order to develop their skills and to make them evolve

**What are we looking for?**
- You have real management skills (empathy, listening, communication)
- You have a taste for challenge and team spirit
- Knowledge of computer systems (Pack Office), the knowledge of Opera PMS is desirable
- You are fluent in French and in English or Spanish, a third language is appreciated
