**Key responsibilities**

Within the Data Platform and Engineering team, the Data Technical Engineer must have a strong and certified experience in Azur Cloud data solutions. Through this position you will be part of a pool of Engineers in charge to set up, configure and deliver the target data platform of Allianz Partners, based on Azur Cloud and related service.

As a Technical Data Engineer you are in charge of the following responsibilities:

- Provide and prepare data for BI, advance analytics and operational uses (build systems and ensure that data systems are efficient, reliable, and secure, support the choice and usage of data transformation tools and ensure the ingested data is harmonized/transformed and compliant to our business data model).
- Ensure Product Development through Agile methodology (communicate with stakeholders, work with other engineers for expanding and optimizing our data and data pipeline architecture, maintain a proper data flow documentation and work in a pool of Data Engineers in closed cooperation with Data Scientists, BI engineers and ETL developers).
- Migrate existing infrastructure services to cloud-based solutions.
- Ensure all infrastructure components meet proper performance and capacity standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (Product Owners, Data Analysts, Domain Experts, Data Scientists and IT Engineers) to understand the business demand, to be translated to a clear data requirement and delivery.
- Collaborate with Data Team managers to define and put in place the good data strategy for the Company.

**What you bring**
- 3+ years of Microsoft Azure experience involving design, deployment, configuration and optimization.
- Databricks and Snowflake tools knowledges are highly appreciated.
- Work experience in an Agile framework.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail.
- Values diversity & comfortable in complex multicultural environments.
- Business skills in Financial/Insurance environment are a plus.
- Fluency in English.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Technical knowledge on scope:

- Data Integration, Data Security, Data Governance skills Microsoft Azur environment - Oracle is a plus.
- Proficient in using different tools and frameworks for data processing: SQL, Phyton, Spark.
- Experience in Jira.
- MS Office tools XLS, PPT.
