Lonza’s Capsules & Health Ingredients business is the trusted partner for innovative products, including capsules and health ingredients, customization services and end-to-end dosage form solutions for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical companies.
Colmar, France | Lonza is currently looking for an experienced regional marketing manager DFS & Ingredients who will be a key member of the regional marketing organization. This role will be instrumental in driving marketing activities to support the profitable growth of DFS and ingredients in the region. The incumbent will ensure that customers and stakeholders understand the value proposition and competitive difference advantages of the DFS/Ingredient portfolio.

**Key responsibilities**:
**Marketing Planning**
- Responsible for the definition and implementation of the regional marketing plan related to his/her product portfolio and target market using a omnichannel strategy (Digital, tradeshows, customer engagements, print media, webinars,).
- Point of contact for the DFS & ingredient portfolio between the Region and the global marketing organization incl. Product management team and will ensure that the long term direction defined by the global function is duly executed regionally.
**Market and customer intelligence**
- Analyses global and regional market, customer and consumer intelligence to understand short-mid-term trends in the regional nutra space, and identify related commercial and marketing (products, value-proposition) opportunities.
- Establish solid relationship with key customer stakeholders to drive business, and to gather insights on customer need patterns & find innovative ways for generating demand.
- Provides market trends insights to the commercial team and in support of customer innovation sessions to which he/she actively participates.
**Product marketing**
- Take the lead in the successful introduction of new products and solutions on the market, working closely with global marketing and regional commercial organization.
- Monitor success of products on the market through key metrics and reporting
**Content and promotion**
- Lead all promotional efforts through established and new Go to Market strategies
- Content marketing and in-bound marketing development & tailoring to the Regional needs
- Develop media/PR strategy for the region, in line with the global Marketing strategy and media plan to support the Regional deliverables
- Responsible for selected customer-facing events and activities in the region
- Develop thought leadership programs in line with the global Marketing strategy for the DFS & ingredients portfolio, and strengthen relationship with key stakeholders (customers, authority bodies, industry players)
**Training and Education**
- Lead & coordinate all product-related training to internal salesforce to equip them with the relevant tools
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**Key requirements**:
- Master degree in commercial field or life sciences
- 5 years minimum experience in Marketing or commercial roles
- Fluent in English
- Significant knowledge in European nutrition market
- Commercial mindset ,result orientation and excellent communication skills.
