At Arm Sophia Antipolis, you will shape the future of technology and collaborate in the development of next-generation GPUs, CPUs, Machine Learning accelerators, and System components to power billions of devices worldwide.

As a Front End Design Engineer, you will be involved from the architecture to the RTL implementation, working in close collaboration with the back-end team, analog designers, Implementation and Verification teams. You will also mentor more junior design engineers.

**The location**

Arm’s Sophia Antipolis design centre is located in one of the most alluring parts of France, at the heart of Europe’s largest and most dynamic technology park. Surrounded by mountains and the Mediterranean Sea, this outstanding design centre has delivered leading products from Arm’s Cortex (TM) processor products, and owns key verification technologies which are used by all other design centres.

**Education & Qualifications**

A university degree (or equivalent) in either Engineering or Computer Science is desired, although other degrees would be considered if there is proven experience.

**Essential Skills & Experience**

Accomplished working experience in digital design

You will have in-depth Verilog/SystemVerilog skills and DFT knowledge

**Desirable Skills & Experience**

You have some know-how in CPU micro-architecture and have knowledge on bus protocols (AHB, APB, AXI....)

You are able to make trade-offs between power, performance and area appropriately to meet the requirements of the product

You know basic scripting languages, e.g. Perl/TCL/Python

You have been exposed to C/C++, assembly language and/or verification techniques and test benches (e.g. UVM and Formal)
