At Bayer, we are shaping the future of agriculture for farmers, consumers, and the planet. We are seeking a talented Data Scientist that will help fundamentally transform product discovery, development, and risk assessment in the crop protection space by functioning as a scientific leader in computational biology and predictive modeling.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide input on data collection needs for relevant assays (_vitro & vivo_).
- Identify necessary skill gaps and develop your personal and technical capabilities.
- Present and communicate your novel data science approaches in front of internal and external scientific or regulatory audiences.

**Qualification & Competencies**:

- Data scientist with mathematical, biological, chemical background or bioinformatic degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in exposure and/or effect modelling in the context of pharmacology or toxicology and risk assessment.
- Very good active listening and translation skills to understand the needs of collaborators and communicate with confidence at all levels inside and outside of the company.
- Strong team player able to work in cross functional teams across Toxicology, different expert functions.
- Lifelong learner with flexible and openminded spirit with the appetite to innovate and experiment.
