Communication /press Assistant - Internship - 4 à 6 Months (H/F)

The European Society of Cardiology (The ESC) based in Sophia Antipolis wishes to welcome a **trainee** for 4 to 6 months period as from the **April/May to September 2025**. You will join the Communications Division, which is responsible for to ensure the ESC is the pre-eminent voice of cardiovascular medicine around the world in order to inform healthcare professionals of the latest advances in cardiovascular medicine and provide patients with the best possible care. More specifically, you will be attached to the Brand & strategic communications department protect and project the ESC brand, its activities and content across all digital and offline communication channels to ensure all stakeholders within the cardiovascular space are of - and can easily engage with - the entire ESC offer. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated internship to support the delivery of communication activities in preparation for the ESC Congress. The primary focus will be on press activities, particularly leveraging social media and managing the exclusive congress website. Depending on availability, the intern may also contribute to broader communication projects. **Major duties**: - Social Media Content Creation: Design visuals (e.g., abstracts, guidelines) and write texts for social media posts. - Hotline Content Management: Draft and schedule social media posts related to Hotline updates. - ESC TV: Work in collaboration with ESC TV to upload Hotline presenter videos to social media channels. - Website Content Management: Organize study presenter photos for the exclusive website and upload materials when needed. - Media Monitoring & Reporting: Track media coverage during the congress and create summary reports. - Social Media Engagement: Support the management of the ESC News LinkedIn page and monitor discussions. - Post-Congress Reporting: Assist in compiling the Congress press reports. - Scientific Content Promotion: Support the creation of social media posts linking to scientific content. **Profile**:You are currently at Business, Communication, Journalism or Languages school (From BAC+4 to BAC+5) and you are interested in healthcare sector so join us - Proficient in English - bilingual - Excellent writing and editing skills in English - Strong interest in communication, media, and social media management - Experience with content creation and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) is a plus - Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Team player with strong organizational skills **What will he/she learn?** - Hands-on experience in event communication at a prestigious international congress - Exposure to press and media activities in a scientific environment - An opportunity to develop digital communication skills in a dynamic team **Conditions**: - Internship 35h - No remote working - Restaurant vouchers + mutuelle/prévoyance **Application**: A cover letter in English A CV in English **Who we are**: The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) is a leading non-profit organisation representing more than 100,000 cardiology professionals from around the world.
