2H Offshore are looking to add a Senior Engineer in the Riser Systems team.

As a Senior Engineer in the Riser Systems team, you will be involved in the study of riser systems as a whole, from the bidding phases to project execution, organizing activities related to the realization of riser systems in coordination with the project technical manager and the department manager.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Review and understand client specifications.
- Review and understand input data provided by the client, particularly environmental data and those related to floaters. Actively participate in the clarification and interface process.
- Manage the analysis of dynamic systems in rigid, flexible, or hybrid configurations.
- Ensure that the design complies with all industry standards as well as the client’s general and specific specifications.
- Plan and conduct the global analysis of the riser system and ensure that analysis procedures and methods are consistent with project objectives.
- Organize and lead system review sessions.
- Produce and verify documentation validating the design: design basis, validation report, analysis report, etc..
- Support on the preparation of material procurement specifications for any subcontracting.
- Actively participate in the evaluation process of received offers and the selection of suppliers.
- Ensure technical follow-up of orders.
- Participate, when necessary, in the clarification process of bids, project kick-off meetings, validation meetings, risk assessment, etc..
- Participate in audits associated with engineering activities.
- Provide necessary technical support to other departments and integrate their constraints into the design.
- Ensure knowledge sharing within the department and participate in department meetings.
- Contribute to the development of internal riser design methods and procedures.
- Contribute to the development of technical and social skills of junior engineers.

**Requirements**:

- Engineering degree or equivalent, ideally in solid or fluid mechanics.
- Significant experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with a minimum of 5 years in subsea riser design.
- Proficiency in specific software dedicated to riser design by finite elements (OrcaFlex, Flexcom, Deeplines, SHEAR7) and their API (Application Programming Interface).
- Fluent in English and ability to work in a multicultural environment and with remote teams.
- Strong knowledge in solid mechanics, hydrodynamics, and wave modelling.
- Basic programming knowledge (Python), probabilistic structure sizing,
naval architecture (mastery of RAOs).
- Autonomy and rigor.
- Good communication skills and social relations.
- Problem-solving ability.
- Adopt a proactive and flexible approach.
