**What You Will Do**
- Participate in the elaboration of prototypes
- Actively improve code base quality, architecture and tooling
- Mentor & coach a squad of developers
- Highly autonomous, self-managed, and accountable to consistently hitting deadlines
- Knowledgeable on best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing
- Experience with Postgres & SQL

**Must Have**
- 10+ years of experience building complex Backend apps serving Frontend apps
- Strong experience with Java or Kotlin
- Experience with an agile and lean/iterative approach
- Appetence with SQL (Postgres, Oracle, or SQL Server)
- Knowledge of best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing.
- Passion for learning & mentoring
- Fluency in French
- Good level in English, both oral and written

**Nice to have**
- Experience working with distributed systems/micro services architecture
- Experience with data platforms and tools (Apache Spark, Snowflake, ETL)
- Experience with ElasticSearch
- Experience with Kafka
