My English Sister is a Lyon-based English language learning and childcare agency. Our mission is to support the English development of French children through fun, personalised tuition and care. Each year, we recruit a team of 30+ English-speaking brothers and sisters to work with families in cities across France.

**Job Opportunity - Paris 18e (75018)**
We are currently recruiting for a **Childcare & Teaching Assistant** to work with a bilingual family in Paris. You will care for two 4-year-old twin girls and support their English language development through play-based, immersive activities.
**Start date**: September (flexible)
**End date**: 02/07/2026
**Location**: 4 Rue Coustou, 75018 Paris
**Schedule**:
- Monday: 16:30 - 20:30
- Tuesday: 16:30 - 20:30
- Thursday: 16:30 - 20:30
**Role Description**
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collecting the girls from school and accompanying them home by bus
- Stopping at the park on nice days
- Supervising snack time
- Leading games, storytelling, arts & crafts, and movement-based activities
- Encouraging the girls to speak English through consistent, natural conversation
- Supporting vocabulary development in a playful, pressure-free environment
The girls have a good understanding of English but often respond in French. The family has requested that all communication with them be exclusively in English to support their language development.
We are looking for someone who is:
- A fluent English speaker (C2 level)
- Previously lived in a native English-speaking country
- Aged 18+
- Has at least 6 months of childcare experience
- Enthusiastic, engaging, and resourceful
- French is not required
Teaching experience is a plus, but not required.
