**The** **Technical Lead** **Role**

Join Qlik's Platform Services team as a Technical Lead and play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and enhancing our foundational services.

As a key member of the team, you will collaborate closely with team members and architects to ensure the delivery of best-in-class services and scalability for our SaaS business.

Cutting-Edge Technologies**: Work with a rich and modern ecosystem, including Java, Javascript, Go, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes, to develop critical systems supporting our SaaS business.
- ** Impactful Projects**: Lead the development and refinement of core SaaS services, such as IAM, provisioning, encryption, and audit systems, leveraging a microservices architecture to ensure optimal performance.
- ** Collaborative Environment**: Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, ensuring alignment between technical and business objectives.

**Here’s how you’ll be making an impact**:

- **
Leadership and Mentorship**: Mentor and guide a team of 6+ engineers, fostering an environment of growth, innovation, and excellence. Conduct code reviews, manage sprint planning, and ensure best practices in software development.
- ** Design and Implementation**: Design and implement scalable and secure software architectures, integrating advanced technologies like Kafka, Solace, Kubernetes, and Docker to ensure optimal performance and security.
- ** Continuous Improvement**: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends for resilient engineering at a global scale, ensuring compliance with security regulations and maintaining high standards for data protection and privacy.

**We’re looking for a teammate with**:

- Strong leadership skills with experience managing or leading a team of software engineers.
- Proficient in modern ecosystems, languages, and frameworks such as Java, JavaScript, Spring, Hibernate, Go, etc...,with solid knowledge of Microservices, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Solid understanding of database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL, and web services.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills in French and English. (working across geographies and time zones).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle management.
