- Located in Norway, the team consists of 35 highly competent and diverse members. Due to the unique engineering skills of our team, we are able to plan and execute marine and land cable installation projects anywhere in the world. We are able to overcome environmental constraints and client requirements with our unique engineering expertise. Our team is expanding in Nantes so we are looking for a Marine & Office Manager for this new site.**GETTING A FLYING START**
- To succeed in Marine Installation, you need experience in the energy, maritime, marine, oil&gas, offshore or construction fields. You have worked in companies that are project driven, and have activities related to Marine projects. You have experience working domestically or internationally. Ideally your experience is related to interconnectors, windfarms, or power from shore. You will be comfortable with ensuring quality and safety during the projects. You have experience with taking charge and working on own initiative through your natural problem-solver mentality

**HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT**
- Our team will rely on you as a discipline manager for the resources assigned to the Nantes Branch office. As such you will have to lead and support the engineers in their respective field of competences to ensure that the work meets the requirements of the projects. More specifically, you will be the Marine Lead Engineer which means making sure that the marine SOW in a project is performed according to Nexans and project requirements.- You will also be an adminitrative manager for the office. As such, you will have a P&L responsibility for the G&T Nantes Branch office. This function encompasses administrative functions, HR functions (workload, training, recruitment, career path, etc.) with the support of all functions based in Paris/Oslo.**YOUR STARTING POINT**
- Higher education from college or university (Bachelor/Master degree)
- Minimum 15 years of experiences in large turnkey projects with managing roles
- Minimum 10 years in offshore installation engineering and/or subsea operations
- Technical competences in marine installation engineering disciplines
- Strong leadership skills / Autonomous / Versatile
- Fluent in English & French languages. Norwegian is a plus
- Acting as an HSE leader - promoting a Safety culture in the company
- Aknowledging importance of quality and on-time performance of work
- Strong & adaptable leadership
- Ability to work in cross
- functional and multi cultural teams
- Ability to be the reference point locally for all stakeholders and to decide by themselves
