The role of **Account Assistant, **in support of one or more Account Managers, is focused on optimally managing and developing existing customer relationships as well as identifying and cultivating new business opportunities for a full range of Flat products and XCarb while using a full set of tools / systems for the daily tasks on reporting, pricing etc.
**Main responsibilities**:
Contract and customer data management
Ensure completeness and accuracy of data in customer master to enable correct order registration.
Offer Management
Perform preliminary volume and technical checks on customer inquiry and interact with Volume Allocation Manager and CTS (Client Technical Support Manager) in order to prepare the offer handling.
Prepare RFQ offer within the CRM tool (manage and check headers content, register items, )
Support Account Manager (AM) on the pricing process and on any applicable instructions when finalizing the offer.
Manage derogation files (PDF) in accordance with validation workflow.
Send offer to the customer and perform the necessary follow up within close collaboration with the Account Manager.
Order Management
Ensure live alignment of prices in our systems to customer negotiations triggering impact lists and retro-billing tasks when necessary.
Track the order from the customer and when received by order management platform match order towards items in CRM tool.
Order follow-up
When not in direct link, ensure the order follow up in close connection with the customer.
In case of issues customer service cannot resolve, connect with customer and handle order follow up tasks.
Monitor delivery performance and check requested / confirmed delivery date.
Interactions with stakeholders : Interact with customer service or other stakeholders (Order Management Platform, Volume Allocation Manager, Credit and Encashment & CN/DN) and support specifically AM and CTS on all needed actions.
Complaint management : Provide support to Account Manager, CTS (Client Technical Support Manager) and encashment team.
Customer Relationship : Support the Account Manager in the preparation and in certain circumstances participate to customer visit.
Strategy and Marketing
Support the Account Manager into capturing and sharing market information and trends on prices, products, imports and competition.
Support the Account Manager for update and review of combined document Account Plan + performance review, on required info on customer, product, market, actions...
WCR follow up.
Monitor (old) stocks and overdue and trigger any needed actions to solve issues.
Monitor overall payment situation and support the Account Manager if any credit limits and encashment issues.
Customer Satisfaction : Build strong connections with the customer to optimize satisfaction or detect areas of improvement.
Digitalization : Interact with e relay and the Account Manager to identify eligible customers for e-services and promote e-solutions for order entry or order follow up purpose.
(Willingness to) Create strong knowledge on Salesforce; important CRM tool, follow updates.
Use of tableau (data) to support in reporting or do analysis.
Quality Management:
Know Quality Management policy and principles.
Compliant behavior : Handle business in compliance to ArcelorMittal Europe Flat Products compliance program.
**Main requirements**
- BAC +2 minimum
- Minimum job-related experience to enter this job is 1 to 2 years.
- Language skills: French and English are mandatory.
- Engaged, motivated, dynamic, team player, customer oriented and IT & digitalization minded.
