Environmental Technician/ Technologist Oshawa, On

You will be joining a dedicated and collaborative team of Engineers and Scientists focused on Geotechnical, Environmental, and Materials related projects.

**Educational & Experience Requirements**:

- College diploma or bachelor’s degree in environmental technology, earth sciences, environmental engineering or an equivalent program is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of applicable provincial regulations and familiarity with conventional field methodologies for brownfield investigations.
- Experience with environmental fieldwork is considered an asset.
- Prior work experience in engineering consulting is considered an asset.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written.

**Main Duties**:

- Assisting in the completion of Phase One and Phase Two Environmental Site Assessments.
- Assisting and leading field investigations, including supervision of borehole drilling and monitoring well installation, test pit investigation and surface water and groundwater sampling.
- Assisting in the preparation of proposals including coordination of subcontractors.
- Compilation, tabulation, and interpretation of field and analytical results.
- Field testing and sampling of soil, sediment, water, and air
- Other duties as required

- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to personal vehicle.
