This is an opportunity for a dynamic individual to join an international and highly skilled team, and to make significant contributions to commercializing a technology with far-reaching potential across the biological sciences and beyond. **The role** We are looking for an **Intern Buyer** to join our Procurement team at DNA Script, in its French office based in Paris (Kremlin-Bicêtre). You will report to our Procurement Manager who oversees all the purchases of the company (except the instrument for which there is a dedicated buyer in the US). You will be in a young and benevolent environment and your manager will help you develop your purchasing skills. The role consists of managing Laboratory (standard raw materials for R&D, consumables, and small equipment) and maintenance portfolio in an international environment. You will join a recently created Purchasing department and will have an opportunity to lead your own projects. Your internal clients will be our R&D, Production and Quality teams. While being based in France, the communication language is English. **Responsibilities** - Manage laboratory and maintenance portfolio - Lead all the purchasing process from needs definition to contracting - Reach objectives of savings fixed for these categories - Realize needs and market analysis to set-up strategies - Source new suppliers and lead validation tests - Support negotiation of purchasing conditions to reach target prices - Ensure** **reporting in terms of savings and KPI - Participate in workshops with Purchasing Manager on your categories and her categories to identify optimization actions - Valorization of the Purchasing function with communication on projects and savings - Take part into implementation of Purchasing families in our ERP - Take part into implementation of supplier database **Qualifications and experience** - Bac+5 in Engineering or Business with a specialization in Purchasing - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English - Proficiency in MS Office - Autonomous and proactive - Excellent interpersonal skills that enable you to be upstream on projects and influence decisions - Result oriented - Skilled negotiator
