The Production Supervisor at IKV Tribologie, a Quaker Houghton grease manufacturing site, oversees daily shop-floor operations, ensuring timely and safe production aligned with customer requirements.
This role includes team leadership (approx. 13-14 direct reports), production planning, and operational coordination to maintain efficiency, quality, and compliance.
Tasks
What will you do?
- Lead and coordinate daily production to meet customer orders in collaboration with Planning and Supply Chain.
- Create and manage SAP production orders; handle label printing and packaging tasks.
- Supervise a production team of 13-14 employees, assign workloads, and monitor performance.
- Enforce plant safety, housekeeping, and compliance standards.
- Train and develop operators; conduct evaluations and set objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Lab, HSE, HR, SC) on quality and safety matters.
- Participate in safety committee and incident resolution.

What do we look for?
**Education**:
- Bac +3 with relevant experience or Bac +5 in industrial production or a similar field.
**Experience**:
- Proven experience in a similar production role.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Familiarity with blending or related manufacturing processes (e.g. chemical, bakery, dairy, etc) is a plus.
**Skills**:
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and general IT tools.
- Fluent in both English and French.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and basic employment law.
- Hands-on, proactive, and team-oriented approach.
