**THE TEAM**:
As part of the PX team, you'll work in a multi-skilled team (Product / Backend / Front end) with the mission of creating a truly seamless user experience. Our team is dedicated to innovating and improving the global experience within our platform interfaces, so that users can have the most intuitive and most complete journey from the login step to campaign setup.

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of shaping AB Tasty’s backend architecture and driving innovation in scalable, high-performance systems. You'll play a key role in assisting with Product, Front end, Backend, UX, QA, OPS, and Data engineers to build and enhance our platform. Mentored by experienced engineering leaders, you’ll be in charge of conducting technical discussions, mentoring junior developers, and refining processes, and making a real impact from day one

**YOUR MISSION**:

- **Design and develop features**: Lead technical specifications, build new functionalities, and validate key technical decisions through PoCs.
- **Build and scale REST APIs**: Develop, document, and optimize robust APIs for high performance and manage routes versioning to support feature evolution and backward compatibility.
- **Optimize architecture**: Improve scalability, reliability, and system performance.
- **Ensure code quality**: Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and guarantee thorough testing.
- **Mentor the team**: Support junior developers, streamline onboarding, and encourage knowledge sharing.
- **Solve complex issues**: Diagnose and resolve critical production problems with sustainable solutions.

**WHAT YOU WILL BRING**:
We’d love to hear from you if you:

- At least 4 years of experience with PHP, Symfony, SQL, and REST.
- Skilled at translating product requirements into technical specifications and accurate cost estimates.
- Proven experience contributing to and maintaining code in a production environment.
- Effective communicator with both product teams and engineers across the stack.
- Comfortable in English (written and spoken); French is a plus.
