Supplier Sustainability Manager

Our Technical Sales team is growing and we are now looking for a Technical Sales Manager to join us at our site in Slough. This role would present a fantastic opportunity for someone within a lab-based/manufacturing environment who wants to take their career in a more commercially focused direction. The Technical Sales Manager will lead conversations with both new and existing customers, providing invaluable product knowledge and guidance to the customer whilst maintaining an understanding of their requirements and key objectives that a partnership with Lonza would offer.

We are currently looking for an experienced Supplier sustainability manager (f/m/d) to join our Colmar site. This role can be also located in Cologne.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Support the roll-out of the vendor due diligence and risk management process to identify, address and resolve potential ESG risks with Lonza’s suppliers globally
- Manage global Procurement cross-functional sustainability projects (e.g., IT Integration project, Power Bi reporting, new supplier qualification, conflict minerals DD, child labor DD etc.)
- Coordinate the engagement with suppliers in order to support Lonza’s sustainability priorities and goals, external industry initiatives etc.
- Implement and monitor relevant targets, KPI’s and reporting capabilities to track and measure the performance of the program and of our suppliers
- Coordinate external partners, initiatives and Lonza targets (e.g., Eco Vadis, Integrity next, PSCI, TfS etc.)
- Manage multiple dedicated supplier assessment platforms (workflow, reporting, communication, support, etc.)
- Monitor and research emerging trends, global sustainability dynamics regulatory environment in your region and/ or globally

**key requirements**:

- University degree in engineering, /supply chain management /sustainability/ CSR or a business degree/ Master’s strongly preferred.
- Passion to drive Sustainability topics
- 5+ years of experience in Sustainability/ CSR programs within procurement, Supplier Communication & Engagement, Reporting
- Experience in pharma industry is a plus.
- Proven working experience with SAP, EcoVadis, Integrity Next, industry initiatives
- Excellent written and oral skills in English, French and German are big plus.
