As a **Continuous Improvement Manager M/W**, your main mission is to manage the continuous improvement process of the site by identifying opportunities with the different functions of the site and establishing the progress plan required to achieve the performance objectives set in terms of cycle time, productivity, quality and costs.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Define a process for deploying the continuous improvement approach to achieve the objectives and raise the maturity of the site in terms of Lean system, tools, behaviors and cultures.
- Develop the culture of operational excellence by communicating about expectations and objectives as well as about the vision and the next steps.
- Determine a strategy for prioritizing improvement opportunities.
- Manage a few L6S projects of high value and impact per year.
- Define the annual plan of the site's projects in cooperation with all the service managers concerned and determine a project management methodology applicable on the site.
- Define a training program and provide L6S training for the site teams.
- Lead improvements in Batch Cycle Time and / or OEE in operations.
- Ensure the updating of project progress data and their communication.
- Work in cross-functional management within a multidisciplinary team.
- Carry out a continuous monitoring of the group's standards and key indicators and implement corrective actions for deviation.
- Prepare promotional materials relating to the improvement obtained following the realization of the various projects.

QUALIFICATION
- Engineering degree in chemical or industrial engineering or Masters in an equivalent field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar function with a strong technical competence in an industrial environment.
- Master Lean tools and systems: 5S, VSM, AMDEC, TPM, SMED, Kaizen, Kanban method, poka yoke (proofreader) and Visual Management.
- Have strong problem-solving capabilities (8D, QQOQCCP, QRQC and DMAIC), including statistics proficiency, as well as office pack.
- Expertise and Lean Six Sigma certification required (Minimum Green Belt level), including other methodologies (Theory of Constraints, etc.).
- We are looking for a person with the necessary leadership to successfully carry out the projects entrusted and able to engage the teams to find the solutions.
- Professional French and English read, written, spoken imperative.

This position will report to the site manager with a functional attachment to the regional continuous improvement champion.

The holder will be part of the site Management team.
